Yoga for Confidence!
Ever struggle with confidence?
This month of Tammuz is a great time to build our inner flame of healthy confidence! ☀️
Star Pose is my go-to posture before any interview or nerve-racking interaction. In Tammuz, I’m working this posture into all of my yoga sequences. A few other ways that I have found to boost confidence are:
- Strengthening poses (esp core and activating the navel!)
- Socializing (going to at least 1 new event or activity a week)
- Actively being conscious of my speech loudness and articulation (I’m an SLP after all..)
- Writing in my journal to understand myself better
- Practicing positive self-talk
- Hot yoga, working out to sweat, or warming up the body in a sauna or steam room
- Reciting a powerful mantra such as ,"I have confidence in myself and my ability to persevere" , “I am worthy”, or “I am a powerful co-creator of my own reality"
